Hall had an interception in each of Michigan’s last two games, against Northwestern and Ohio State. The Albany transfer rose to the occasion at the end of the season after getting more and more comfortable throughout.
“Both great opportunities to end the season on a high note,” Hall said. “That’s something that we pride ourselves on, going into that back end stretch of games. I’m glad we finished up the season like that, and leave that lasting impact going onto the next season for the young guys.”
His interception against the Buckeyes gave Michigan a short field, which it cashed in on with a short touchdown run.
“It was a third down situation,” Hall said. “I was kinda sitting at the sticks, was able to get a good break and made a play on the football. It was a critical moment in the game, and it really helped kinda swing the momentum of things. I was grateful and blessed I was able to make that play and that game went the way it did. Very thankful for that.”

Hall came from Albany in the spring, so he hasn’t been with the Michigan program all that long. As soon as he joined the Wolverines, though, he felt how important the Ohio State rivalry is.
“The first thing, from all of the coaches, the equipment, weight room staffs, everybody, that’s the first thing you see, first thing you learn about once you get into this building, what that rivalry means,” Hall said. “You work every day to beat that team, so that’s a big mindset thing going into a week like that, and just throughout the season, preparing for that game.”
Michigan is preparing for Alabama with a jolt of energy that was created by the 13-10 win over Ohio State Nov. 30.
“Obviously, coming off the win down in Ohio, it’s been great,” Klein said. “I think that gave the team a lot of confidence and was a good way to close out the regular season. Just been working, preparing for Alabama.
