Sillsy, a Detroit sports YouTube channel, dropped an epic Michigan Wolverines football hype video for the 2022 season. The video begins with head coach Jim Harbaugh proclaiming that the Wolverines’ 2021 success was “just the start.”

This year, the Michigan team is eager to prove it is indeed just the beginning. Despite playing Colorado State, a 30.5-point underdog, the Wolverines aren’t overlooking their first game, they insisted in an interview with MGoBlueTV’s Ed Kengerski.

“We all say like every team that we play, it’s going to be their Super Bowl,” Michigan senior cornerback DJ Turner said. “We know nobody is going to take it easy on us. You don’t just go into a game and they just give up, so we’ve got to go in there knowing they’re going to try to beat us, and take care of business.

“You can never look past a week, because then all of a sudden, you’re in a dogfight,” Michigan junior right guard Zak Zinter added. “We don’t have that mentality; it’s week by week. We’ll really get to learn ourselves and what we bring to the table these first few weeks and how we attack it.”

“Ever since we lost to Georgia [in the College Football Playoff Dec. 31], I’m sure all of the guys, we have this mentality that we know what it takes, we know what it’s like to win a Big Ten championship and all that good stuff, but we want to achieve more,” Michigan sophomore running back Donovan Edwards said.

“You can’t even describe it, getting a chance to prove ourselves again as a team, as a unit, it’s indescribable. I’m more than happy right now — can’t stop thinking about it, for real.”

Former Michigan quarterback and seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady said back in 2013 that being named a U-M captain was his single greatest achievement he received as a football player.

With two days until the season (yesterday), the Michigan football Twitter account posted video of two of Charles Woodson’s best plays in a U-M uniform.

Stadium tours are back at The Big House. Check out details below.

Quote Of The Day

“It’s hard, but both those guys are doing really well. Once they learn and know what to do, they flash and you say, ‘oh, wow! Okay — this guy is going to be good.’ Whether it be a great break on a ball, taking a great angle, a great tackle or that kind of thing. Both those guys are going to be really good, and they are right on track.”
