Grading how Michigan filled needs at each position with 2025 recruiting class

Below, we hand out our annual grades for how Michigan filled needs at each position group. We weighed both short- and long-term needs but took into account the fact that most prep recruits aren’t ready to be significant contributors as freshman. With that, Michigan wasn’t knocked for not having instant impact players at every position — we instead examined the big picture.
