Michigan press conference notes

• Harbaugh discussed Michigan’s special teams in-depth, breaking down the kick return spot, which is currently being held by Roman Wilson, kicker Jake Moody and punter Brad Robbins. He also expressed why Caden Kolesar is such a valuable piece as a cover man and broke down his safeties group, specifically on what Makari Paige has done to earn time.

• Helow said that he doesn’t know whether Michigan junior linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green (soft tissue injury) will be able to suit up Saturday against Colorado State. He discussed Kalel Mullings, who’s been working a lot at MIKE linebacker in addition to some small duties at running back, his expectations for sophomore Junior Colson (they’re high) for the 2022 season and more.
