What turned the Michigan football program around after the 2020 season

Jesse Minter

Steve Clinkscale

Minter discussed his defense and the challenge that TCU presents, strength coach Ben Herbert and how important he is to the program and much more. Clinkscale went in depth on his decision to leave Kentucky for Michigan two years back and how that “leap of faith” paid off in a big way. He’s more than happy with his decision and loves the direction of the U-M program.

Michigan and TCU will kick off at 4 p.m. ET Saturday afternoon in Glendale. The Maize and Blue are 7.5-point favorites and considered a better than 50 percent bet to make the national title game Jan. 9 in Inglewood, Calif. The Horned Frogs are 12-1 this season with their lone blemish coming in the Big 12 title game against Kansas State, while Michigan is undefeated at 13-0.
