On3’s Andy Staples was one of the select media members with the opportunity to play EA Sports College Football 26 ahead of its July 10 release date. Staples said Michigan’s Sherrone Moore was one of the head coaches the game nailed in terms of likeness. Moore and coordinators Chip Lindsey (offense) and Wink Martindale (defense) are all in the game.

The Killers’ Mr. Brightside will play between the third and fourth quarters during games at Michigan Stadium in EA Sports College Football 26, according to Staples. Michigan plays the famous song each game, and fans sing along even well after the music on the speakers stops.

Michigan senior EDGE Derrick Moore posted the following stats last season, as displayed in a post from PFF:

〽️ 79.9 PFF Grade
〽️ 37 QB Pressures
〽️ 23% Win Rate
〽️ 86.5 Pass Rush Grade

Below is the EA Sports College Football 26 reveal trailer, which was released Thursday.

More on the game from On3:
Two days after dropping the covers for the 2026 edition of the video game, EA Sports College Football released the official reveal trailer, giving an inside look at what gameplay will look like when the game drops on July 10.

Among the highlights of the trailer released on Thursday, the song “Enter Sandman” from Metallica is now in the game, giving users the full experience of Virginia Tech’s entrance at Lane Stadium. Notably, college football coaches will be in the 2026 edition of the game. When EA Sports College Football made its return after more than a decade, coaches were notably not in the game. Instead, generic coaches were on the sidelines with players.

Fans get the first look at Ohio State’s Ryan Day, Texas’ Steve Sarkisian and Notre Dame’s Marcus Freeman. EA has also gone all-in on getting the primetime effect, with drone shows now included in the game. In total, over 300 real-life coaches will be in the game.

The trailer also spends time highlighting some of the top players in the college game, including Texas quarterback Arch Manning, Ohio State wideout Jeremiah Smith and Oregon EDGE Matayo Uiagalelei.

Quote Of The Day

“I wouldn’t say I wasn’t ready to go into the draft, but skill wise I don’t know if I would be as productive as I think I am. Pretty much what decided it was teams telling me I could still get drafted in the same spot or better if I go polish my game.”
