No team has more selections than Michigan on ranking of top 100 players in college football
Michigan Wolverines football has seven representatives on On3’s ranking of the top 100 players in college football, led by senior running back Blake Corum at No. 14. No team has more players to make the list, with only Georgia and Ohio State tied with seven.
Before we dive into some more numbers — including the average spot in which each school’s players landed — here’s a look at where the Wolverines who made the cut stand.

Michigan’s seven players are ranked an average of 53.7 on the list. That’s second behind Ohio State (44.9) and ahead of Georgia (59.3).

Penn State sits alone in fourth with six players to make the top 100. However, its average rank of 31.8 is extremely impressive. The Nittany Lions have two players in the top 10, four in the top 25 and five in the top 33. Their final selection is No. 100, which even skews the average. Michigan, for instance, has only one player in the top 33, while Georgia has two and Ohio State has three.

There are three teams who had five players make appearances — Florida State (average rank of 44.6), Alabama (52.4) and USC (60). A pair of programs had four — Washington (33.3) and Texas (55.8). Meanwhile, a trio had three representatives — Notre Dame (30), LSU (38.7) and Miami (51.7).
Thirty three teams had one choice, while nine had two selections.
