Michigan Wolverines football has seven representatives on On3’s ranking of the top 100 players in college football, led by senior running back Blake Corum at No. 14. No team has more players to make the list, with only Georgia and Ohio State tied with seven.

Before we dive into some more numbers — including the average spot in which each school’s players landed — here’s a look at where the Wolverines who made the cut stand.

• No. 14: Senior running back Blake Corum

• No. 35: Sophomore cornerback Will Johnson

• No. 46: Senior defensive tackle Kris Jenkins

• No. 48: Senior right guard Zak Zinter

• No. 70: Junior quarterback J.J. McCarthy

• No. 79: Junior running back Donovan Edwards

Penn State sits alone in fourth with six players to make the top 100. However, its average rank of 31.8 is extremely impressive. The Nittany Lions have two players in the top 10, four in the top 25 and five in the top 33. Their final selection is No. 100, which even skews the average. Michigan, for instance, has only one player in the top 33, while Georgia has two and Ohio State has three.
