If Michigan has an advantage in this weekend’s game against Ohio State, it may be with its defensive line against the Buckeyes’ offensive line. Quarterback Will Howard knows that and insists that the Buckeyes are on high alert for junior defensive tackles Kenneth Grant and Mason Graham and the ret of the line.

From Lettermen Row’s Spencer Holbrook:

“Those are two really, really good players,” Howard said of Graham and Grant, then going on to talk about the entire defensive line. “Our O-line knows they have a challenge. But, I mean, they’ve had challenges every single week. And people were worried about, they weren’t going to be able to handle the movement up front from Indiana. They weren’t going to be able to handle moving around before Penn State. But those guys just keep rising the challenge, man.

“I’ve just been so proud of how they have responded, and they haven’t listened to the outside noise. They’ve stuck together, and when those guys are on and those guys are hot, they’re the lifeblood of that team, that offense. When we can get our run game going and we can get those o-linemen chugging and going, that really makes a difference for us. I’m really proud of the way that they’ve responded this whole season.”

Michigan junior EDGE Derrick Moore could return for another season with the Wolverines, but he also could head to the NFL.

Michigan is swinging big at the end of the 2025 recruiting cycle.

Michigan vs. Ohio State is only two days away.

Quote Of The Day

“We did get a chance to sit down with (General Manager) Sean Magee. We came to an understanding of where Michigan is at in terms of NIL. That was helpful. Overall, just getting back together with the coaches. We spent a good amount of time with Coach (Steve) Casula. He’s definitely a personable fellow. We always enjoy his company. That was cool. It seems Michigan is very confident about the NCAA situation. For me, that answer is still to be decided. It’s undetermined at this time. They are very confident there won’t be things for us to worry about moving forward. But for me, it’s still an issue until it’s officially adjudicated.”
