While four former Michigan football players were busy competing in Super Bowl LVII, a slew of Wolverines were featured in a local commercial for the Mike Morse Law Firm, which aired on FOX during halftime of the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

The lead actor among Michigan players was EDGE Mike Morris, who has a name similar to Mike Morse and has appeared in other advertisement campaigns with the law firm due to that fact and his stature as a U-M star.

Morris is currently preparing for the 2023 NFL Draft and will participate in the late-February combine in Indianapolis.

In the commercial, Morris showed up at the home of Morse’s mother, Sue, for a Super Bowl party, bringing along senior defensive tackle Kris Jenkins, graduate left guard Trevor Keegan, center Olusegun Oluwatimi, also an NFL Draft prospect, and junior linebacker Junior Colson.

Valiant Management, the leading sports marketing agency servicing University of Michigan student athletes, represented the athletes in the deal with the Mike Morse Law Firm.

At $88,000, Colson has the highest On3 NIL Valuation among the current Michigan players featured in the commercial.

The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets the standard market NIL value for high school and college athletes. The On3 NIL Valuation calculates the optimized NIL opportunity for athletes relative to the overall NIL market and projects out to as long as 12 months into the future.

Jenkins’ valuation sits at $60,000, while Keegan’s is $57,000. Both players considered departing for the NFL but decided to return for one more season with the Wolverines.

Valiant Management helped returning players by starting the ‘One More Year’ fund, a crowdfunding campaign that has raised over $108,082 from more than 1,100 supporters.
