Michigan football players featured in Top House Peanut Sauce commercial
Top House Foods has partnered with Michigan Wolverines football players for a commercial to promote its Top House Peanut Sauce. Graduate running back Kalel Mullings, junior defensive tackle Kenneth Grant, graduate long snapper Greg Tarr, junior cornerback Zeke Berry and senior EDGE TJ Guy starred in the ad.
The 90-second commercial features Michigan fine arts major Kevin Ludwig (class of 2026) and demonstrates “what to do” and “what not to do” with Top House Peanut Sauce.
In the ad, some Michigan players try out the sauce on different foods such as a hamburger, french fries and chicken nuggets, while Tarr puts it on his computer as a cleaning solution (what not to do) and Mullings uses it as shampoo and conditioner.
Finally, the Wolverines got it, with Tarr saying, “Use Top House Peanut Sauce on all your favorite foods to make them even better.”
Top House partnered with Michigan’s official NIL collective, Champions Circle, and Yellow Dot Sports Marketing.
“Together, they’ve brought this unique collaboration to life, blending humor, sports and a love of Top House Peanut Sauce,” a press release read.
“This campaign is all about having fun while showcasing the personality of star Michigan players and the ubiquitous application of Top House Peanut Sauce,” said Leo Purcell, Founder of Top House Foods. “We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate Michigan’s huge win in the Game than to share our over the top campaign from Top House. The athletes were exceptional in helping us create something memorable and entertaining as we introduce Top House to the world.”

“Infused with a rich, smooth peanuty flavor and a perfect balance of sweetness and spice, Top House Peanut Sauce is the ultimate secret weapon for your kitchen,” the release read. “It’s delicious and crafted from high-quality ingredients, making it the ideal choice for drizzling over your favorite dishes or adding an umami kick to your cookouts and parties.”
Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore has made strides in progressing the Wolverines’ NIL program through the Champions Circle collective. He explained to The Wolverine earlier this year exactly how important that piece of the program is.
“I think the college football landscape has just changed so much that you need to have the resources to support your student-athletes financially and from other avenues that we haven’t ever had to do before,” Moore told The Wolverine. “They’ve just done such an unbelievable job of raising the funds to help our student-athletes and get the things that they deserve.
“So they’ve been important to us. They’ve been a great backbone for our program, helping us keep those guys and continue to build the future of the program.”
