On this week’s podcast, TheWolverine.com‘s Clayton Sayfie, Chris Balas and Anthony Broome break down what to watch for, give their final score predictions and more.

Michigan podcast topics

The following are among the topics discussed:

• Michigan’s injuries that are mounting. The Wolverines have been without several key players, in some cases for several weeks. We expect one or two to return this week, but Michigan will be shorthanded (so will Iowa, especially on the defensive side).

• The Michigan offense and how it can navigate facing an elite Iowa defense. The Wolverines’ offense was out of sync a bit last week against Maryland … what does that mean against the Hawkeyes?

• The Michigan defense and what it needs to look out for in this game. Tight end Sam LaPorta had success in the Big Ten championship game a year ago, but Iowa doesn’t have many weapons that should be concerning. The field position battle and special teams will also be key.
