One given about Michigan's QB competition: Alex Orji will have a role
Michigan Wolverines football has about as wide open a quarterback competition as a team can have heading into fall camp, with at least three players in the mix, led by graduate Jack Tuttle, senior Davis Warren and junior Alex Orji. When the battle will have a winner, nobody knows. It could last into the season, but that's a tough proposition given that a consensus top-five team in Texas heads to The Big House in Week 2. Whether Michigan names a starter at some point in fall camp or waits until the Aug. 31 opener against Fresno State — like former head man Rich Rodriguez did in trotting out Denard Robinson for the 2010 debut against UConn — remains to be seen, too.
