Newsstand: Michigan commit Blake Frazier among biggest risers in updated 2024 On300 rankings
Tweets Of The Day
Four-star Michigan commit Blake Frazier, a legacy recruit, made his pledge public Sunday. On3 updated its 2024 recruiting rankings Monday, and Frazier was among the biggest risers. He shot up 66 spots from No. 275 to No. 209 overall.
“Blake Frazier has the developmental body type and a good frame,” On3 director of scouting Charles Power said. “I think he’ll be a guy that will look completely different physically in a college strength and conditioning program. But he’s already very strong. He is one of the top shot-put throwers in the state of Texas, especially among football players. He has that functional, explosive core power that you like to see. He can play tackle, I think he can play inside as well. We just really like the developmental upside and his athletic profile and what he’s shown us so far. We think his best football is ahead of him and he’s going to continue develop physically.”
One of Michigan’s rivals was named the second most annoying fan base on Twitter in college football.

Michigan prepared to offer No. 1 recruit $10.5M over 4 years
Michigan women’s basketball has hired Jillian Dunston, a former U-M standout, as an assistant coach. She played for the Wolverines from 2015-18 and spent the last three seasons as an assistant coach at Drexel.
“It is so great to have Jillian back with our program,” head coach Kim Barnes Arico said in a statement. “She is one of the best to ever wear the Block M and embodies everything our program stands for. She is a rising star in this business and her work ethic as a coach matches what she brought to the court every single day. I am so happy to have her energy and personality back with us in Ann Arbor.”
“I have so much gratitude for this opportunity to return to my alma mater,” Dunston said. “I spent some of my best years in Ann Arbor and I can’t wait to get back. Now that I am on the coaching side of things, I am excited to join Coach Arico on staff and overjoyed to be able to learn from her. This is the opportunity of a lifetime, and I am excited to be back with the hardest working team in America!”
