Four-star Harper Woods (Mich.) High Michigan defensive back commit Jacob Oden has been a Wolverine fan his entire life. His father, Rod, played for the program, and he’s a potential future star. On Wednesday, Oden posted some photos of himself growing up in the maize and blue.
About an hour later, a big-time Michigan target did the same. Four-star Austin (Texas) Vandegrift offensive tackle Blake Frazier is the son of Steve Frazier, who played center at Michigan and snapped for Tom Brady in the 1990s. Frazier posted a shot of himself in his dad’s helmet. The Wolverines appear to be the leader in his recruitment, and it would be a major pickup.

There are only 150 days until U-M begins its 2023 season with a Sept. 2 game against East Carolina.
Michigan is in the mix for North Carolina guard transfer Caleb Love. Missouri appears to be the favorite, but the Wolverines have a shot at the former Tar Heel.
Yesterday was 4/5/23 … which sparked some discussion among Michigan fans, led by Scott Bell, because it resembles the final score from the Wolverines’ 45-23 win at Ohio State last November.
Quote Of The Day
“We’re not happy just to be there. We want to win it. Even the group last year — because of COVID and then the year before COVID — they didn’t have the opportunity to get those experiences, so it was all new. We have 12 freshmen, but I think a lot of those guys are saying the right things. It’s not some event or some party. It’s the same thing we’ve been doing all year — just focus on the game and what we can control. I keep saying this. It sounds so cliché, but you have to.”
