ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan Wolverines football will host its annual spring game Saturday at The Big House. The squads will be split into two sides, ‘Blue’ and ‘Maize.’ Defensive coordinator Wink Martindale will lead the blue, while offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell will head up the maize.

Weather in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Weather.com projects it to be 43 degrees and mostly cloudy with a zero-percent chance of precipitation and 16 MPH winds out of the northwest at noon ET. It’s expected to rise to 47 degrees by 3 p.m. For tailgating purposes, it will be 38 degrees and mostly sunny at 9 a.m.

Parking information

According to MGoBlue.com:
Parking options near Michigan Stadium will be extremely limited due to other events and activities in the surrounding areas. Any available parking in the lots around Michigan Stadium, owned and operated by the University of Michigan, will be free and open to the public starting at 7 AM (and is expected to fill quickly). There will be no parking available at Pioneer High School or the U-M and AAGO Golf Courses.

Additional parking options include:

  • FREE Shuttle – Michigan Athletics is providing free shuttles from this location at Briarwood Mall on gameday. Shuttles will begin pickup at 10 AM and drop off will end 1 hour after the spring game ends.
  • Brown & Maize Lots on S. State Street (south of Michigan Stadium)
  • University Lots W39 & W40 at S. Fifth Ave. & John Street (north of Michigan Stadium)
  • City of Ann Arbor parking structures on S. Fifth Ave., William, and Maynard (north of Michigan Stadium)
  • On-street parking in select neighborhoods – Note there are several on-street parking restrictions as indicated on this map

ADA Parking:  A limited number of parking spots for guests with mobility impairments will be available (free of charge) in the parking area east of the William Davidson Player Development Center and can be accessed off Stadium Blvd. A State-Issued Disability Parking Placard will be required to gain admittance into this area of the parking lot, and it will open at 7 AM.

Concession stands will be open during the Spring Game. As was the case last season, all concession locations at Michigan Stadium are CASHLESS.

What you can bring to Michigan spring game

All bags (including purses, fanny packs, etc.) are prohibited. Fans are encouraged to bring ONLY necessary items to football games at Michigan Stadium. All subjects and items are subject to search.
