LaDarius Henderson talks Michigan commitment

Michigan was exactly what former Arizona State offensive lineman Henderson was looking for in a college program. The Wolverines are known for strong offensive line play, having won the Joe Moore Award in 2021 and been recently named a finalist along with Georgia for the honor this season.

“Definitely, my intentions were to go to the NFL Draft. And I would’ve been on somebody’s team in the NFL, but that was never my desire, to just make a team,” Henderson told TheWolverine.com in an exclusive interview. “I want to be an impactful player in the NFL for a long time, which is why I chose to go to a school like Michigan over just transferring somewhere where you can get millions of dollars, and maybe get better, maybe not get better, maybe develop, maybe do good.

“I wanted to go somewhere where I knew there was surefire O-line development — and I love what I see here with [co-offensive coordinator and line coach] Coach Sherrone [Moore] and how [head] Coach [JimHarbaugh does things.”
