• Final: Michigan 31, Bowling Green 6

• 4Q, 0:11 — Alan Anaya missed a 36-yard field goal attempt after a 10-play, 47-yard drive.

• 4Q, 9:10 — Michigan takes over on its own 20-yard line after the touchback on Bowling Green’s punt. The Wolverines’ second-team offense is now in, led by quarterback Jayden Denegal.

• End of the third quarter: Michigan 31, Bowling Green 6

• 3Q, 0:49 — J.J. McCarthy was flushed from the pocket, rolled left and threw the ball away … but he didn’t get it out of bounds and it was intercepted by Bowling Green’s Avi McGrary near the U-M sideline. The Falcons take over on their own 20-yard line. That’s McCarthy’s third interception of the night.

• 3Q, 4:04 — The Michigan defense forces another three-and-out, before another punt. The Wolverines take over on their own 37-yard line.

• 3Q, 6:28 — On a flea flicker, J.J. McCarthy throws a 50-yard touchdown pass to Cornelius Johnson, after the ball deflected off the defender’s helmet and back into Johnson’s hands. The Wolverines now lead 31-6.

• 3Q, 7:58 — Bowling Green goes three and out and punts. Michigan takes over on its own 39-yard line.

• 3Q, 10:12 — After a lengthy delay due to Bowling Green outside linebacker Demetrius Hardamon being carted off with an injury, Michigan failed to convert with a run up the middle by Donovan Edwards on third down. James Turner came on for a 42-yard field goal and knocked it through. The Wolverines now lead 24-6.

• 3Q, 11:53 — On Bowling Green’s second play of the possession, Jaylen Harrell knocked the ball free on the quarterback, and Michael Barrett recovered at the 26-yard line. Michigan has now forced 3 turnovers for the second time over the last two seasons.

• 3Q, 12:44 — Michigan went three-and-out and punted. But on the Falcons’ first play of their drive, quarterback Hayden Timosciek was pressured and threw an interception to defensive lineman Kris Jenkins. Blake Corum ran in the touchdown from 2 yards out — his second score of the day and sixth of the season — to put the Wolverines ahead 21-6.

• Halftime: Michigan 14, Bowling Green 6. The Wolverines’ two-minute drill was blown up after J.J. McCarthy missed a wide open Tyler Morris down the sideline for a would-be touchdown and a free rusher came through to make a sack on third down. The Wolverines punted, and the Falcons kneeled out the clock.

• 2Q, 1:56 — Quinten Johnson nabs Michigan’s second interception of the year along the home sideline, getting his foot down to secure the catch.

• 2Q, 4:15 — J.J. McCarthy hits Roman Wilson on a 33-yard touchdown, Wilson having run a post route. James Turner knocks through the extra point, and the Wolverines lead 14-6.

• 2Q, 6:57 — Michigan takes over on its own 33-yard line after a Bowling Green three-and-out and punt. Jake Thaw returned the punt 6 yards. Tyler Morris was the returner on the previous punt.

• 2Q, 8:50 — Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy throws his second interception of the game, U-M’s third turnover, on a pass intended for Cornelius Johnson. Jordan Oladokun picked it off for the Falcons, who start on their own 34-yard line. Trevor Keegan made the tackle.

• 2Q, 11:39 — Michigan gets another third-down stop, but Bowling Green kicker Alan Anaya drilled the 42-yarder. The Falcons drive just 9 yards in four plays but get 3 points out of it. Michigan leads 7-6.

• 2Q, 14:02 — Bowling Green pooch kicks it, and Max Bredeson, the up-back, receives it. He ran to his right and fumbled, recovered by the Falcons. Bowling Green takes over at the U-M 34-yard line. The Maize and Blue had just 1 turnover through two games and now have a pair of turnovers tonight.

• 2Q, 14:13 — Bowling Green gets on the board, after Michigan got the third-down stop. Alan Anaya’s 36-yard field goal is good. Michigan leads 7-3.

• End of the first quarter: Michigan 7, Bowling Green 0. The Falcons have 3rd and 5 on the Wolverines’ 26 yard line when play resumes. A few plays earlier Michigan cornerback Josh Wallace was beat on a double move, Camden Orth threw a nice ball, but wide receiver Odieu Hiliare dropped the potential touchdown in the end zone.

• 1Q, 4:48 — J.J. McCarthy throws an interception to BGSU’s Jalen Huskey in the end zone on 2nd and goal. McCarthy threw between receivers — potentially a miscommunication. After the touchback, the Falcons take over on their own 20-yard line.
