Pregame observations: Michigan football vs. Bowling Green
• 7:41 p.m. — Michigan has taken the field for tonight’s game.
• 7:37 p.m. — The national anthem has been played, and the banner is being raised at midfield. Michigan is getting ready to take the field with its iconic entrance.
• 7:31 p.m. — Michigan interim head coach Sherrone Moore says on the U-M pregame radio show that “consistency” and “finishing at all levels” will allow the run game to open up.
• 7:18 p.m. — It appears Jake Thaw will continue to be Michigan’s first man out there at punt returner. He took the final punt of warmups — typically the indicator — before the team went back up the tunnel to the locker room for the last time before kickoff.
• 7:13 p.m. — The team period of warmups has started. Makari Paige was working with the 1s at safety. He played sparingly in the first game against ECU but missed last week’s contest with UNLV. Will Johnson was also with the 1s. He played eight snaps last week and missed the opener.
• 7:05 p.m. — There are just under 40 minutes until kickoff, and many Michigan fans are already in their sets, with the stadium filling up much sooner than usual in anticipation for the 14th-ever night game in the history of The Big House. The Maize and Blue are 11-2 in primetime at home.
