• Final score: Michigan 34, Nebraska 3

• 4Q, 1:17 — Jake Moody hits a 43-yard field goal to make it 34-3.

• 4Q, 5:52 — Michigan forces another punt and gets the ball back. The Maize and Blue have placed backup quarterback Davis Warren into the game.

• 4Q, 9:39 — J.J. McCarthy hits Ronnie Bell, who fumbled near the goal line into the end zone. Andrel Anthony recovered for the score. The play was reviewed but the call stood. Michigan leads 31-3.

• End of the third quarter: Michigan 24, Nebraska 3.

• 3Q, 0:57 — Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy takes a QB power to the left for a 3-yard touchdown to give the Maize and Blue a 24-3 lead. The Wolverines’ scoring drive spanned 10 plays and 65 yards.

• 3Q, 10:11 — Michigan’s opening drive of the second half fizzles out and ends in a Brad Robbins punt. Former U-M receiver Oliver Martin fair caught it at the 8-yard line, and the Cornhuskers are backed up.

• 2Q, 0:01 — Michigan drives down and let valuable time run off the clock, using just one timeout, and finishes with a 30-yard field goal from Jake Moody. That gives the Maize and Blue a 17-3 lead.

• 2Q, 4:10 — Nebraska gets on the board with a 37-yard field goal after a 48-yard drive that was aided by a questionable roughing the passer call. Michigan has a 14-3 lead.

• 2Q, 8:46 — A 28-yard play-action pass from J.J. McCarthy to Colston Loveland sparks a Michigan scoring drive. McCarthy hit Ronnie Bell for a 9-yard touchdown to give the Wolverines a 14-0 lead.

• 2Q, 12:10 — A.J. Henning returns Nebraska’s punt 9 yards to the Michigan 34-yard line. Michigan will take over there and try to extend its lead.

• 2Q, 13:54 — Michigan gains one first down on four plays but punts it away. Nebraska will take over on its own 20-yard line.

• End of the first quarter: Michigan 7, Nebraska 0. The Cornhuskers face 4th and 1 on their own 33-yard line.

• 1Q, 1:27 — Michigan goes three-and-out in a sequence that included a second-down sack and third-down pressure with an incompletion. Brad Robbins was run into on his punt, but U-M declined the penalty. Nebraska takes over on its own 24-yard line.

• 1Q, 2:53 — Michigan junior safety R.J. Moten dropped an interception on 3rd and 5, but Nebraska punts it away and U-M takes over on its own 34-yard line after A.J. Henning muffed it but recovered and returned the ball 4 yards. Freshman EDGE Derrick Moore was among the players who pressured Nebraska quarterback Chubba Purdy on 3rd down.

• 1Q, 4:26 — Michigan drives down 80 yard for a score, capped off by a 2-yard touchdown run from junior running back Blake Corum on 1st and goal after drawing a pass interference penalty on the previous play. The Maize and Blue hold a 7-0 lead.

• 1Q, 11:14 — Michigan sophomore linebacker Junior Colson notches a tackle for loss on 3rd and 9 to force a punt that went into the end zone for a touchback. Michigan takes over on its own 20-yard line.

• Michigan has won the coin toss and chosen to defer its choice to the second half.

The Wolverines hold a 3-2 advantage since Nebraska joined the Big Ten Conference. U-M has won the last two matchups between the teams, 56-10 at home in 2018 and 32-29 in Lincoln, Neb., last season.
