• Final: Michigan gets a fourth-down stop and runs out the clock for a 41-17 win.
• 4Q 5:03 — Michigan sophomore running back Donovan Edwards has his second rushing touchdown of the day, this time from three yards out, to give the Maize and Blue a 41-17 lead and all but seal the win.
• 4Q 11:00 — After a flurry of penalties, Michigan settles for a 37-yard field goal to take a 34-17 lead.
• End of the third quarter: After getting a fourth-down stop, the Michigan offense is driving at the end of the third quarter. The Wolverines picked up a 4th and 1 to keep the chains moving. The ball is on the Penn State 33-yard line, 1st and 10.
• 3Q 7:20 — Michigan sophomore running back Blake Corum, on the first play of the drive, takes a run up the middle the distance for a 61-yard score. The Wolverines now lead 31-17.
• 3Q 11:12 — Michigan sophomore running back Donovan Edwards rips off a 67-yard touchdown run. The two-point conversion is good, with J.J. McCarthy completing a screen to Ronnie Bell. Michigan now has a 24-17 edge.
• 3Q 13:15 — Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford connected on a 48-yard deep ball to wideout Harrison Wallace III. That sparked a field goal scoring drive (27-yarder) to take the lead, 17-16.
• End of the second quarter: Michigan 16, Penn State 14
• 2Q 0:02 — Jake Moody’s 23-yard field goal is good, and Michigan has the lead back after once again failing to score a touchdown in the red zone (3 of 4 red zone trips have ended in made field goals).
• 2Q 4:27 — Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy’s pass was tipped, deflected off another PSU player and intercepted by PSU linebacker Curtis Jacobs, who returned it for a touchdown to give the Nittany Lions the lead, 14-13.
• 2Q 6:11 — Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford ripped off a 62-yard run to the Michigan 4-yard line. Four plays later, running back Kaytron Allen rushed it in from the half-yard line to put the Nittany Lions on the board. Michigan leads 13-7.
• 2Q 8:29 — Michigan junior running back Blake Corum punches in a touchdown on 1st and goal from the 1-yard line. After review, the play stood as called. The Wolverines lead 13-0.

• 2Q 15:00 — Michigan’s defense again forces a three and out. Penn State will punt it away after the timeout. The Wolverines lead 6-0 at the end of the first quarter.
• 1Q 1:25 — Michigan moves the ball with ease again, going 77 yards in 13 plays, but the possession ends with another field goal attempt. Jake Moody’s 24-yard field goal is good, giving the Wolverines a 6-0 lead.
• 1Q 7:35 — Michigan senior defensive end Mike Morris makes a huge tackle for loss to force Penn State to punt. A.J. Henning fielded the 50-yard kick, and the Wolverines take over at their own 17-yard line.
• 1Q 9:43 — Jake Moody’s 29-yard field goal is good, after Michigan made a trip to the red zone but did not convert. Sophomore quarterback J.J. McCarthy misfired on a pass intended for running back Donovan Edwards on third down. The Wolverines’ drive spanned 11 plays and 64 yards.
• Penn State has won the toss and chosen to defer its choice to the second half. Michigan will receive.
