• 4Q, 1:09 — Michigan third-string quarterback Jayden Denegal slings a 35-yard throw to Semaj Morgan on a free play after UNLV jumped offsides. The Wolverines have it, first and 10, on the UNLV 29-yard line.
• 4Q, 2:43 — UNLV avoids a shutout by rushing up the middle for a touchdown. Jordan Younge-Humphrey ran it in from 20 yards out. The Wolverines now lead 35-7.
• 4Q, 10:31 — The Michigan defense gets a turnover on downs and the Wolverines take over at their own 40-yard line.
• 4Q, 14:45 — Davis Warren throws an interception to UNLV defensive back Jerrae Williams. The Rebels take over at their own 23-yard line.
• 3Q, 0:56 — After a 14-yard run in which he was shoved out of bounds, Jack Tuttle was pushed by a UNLV defender and ran into a Gatorade stand on the Rebels’ sideline, staying down for a while. A penalty was assessed on the Rebels. Tuttle jogged off the field, but Davis Warren entered the game.
• 3Q, 3:16 — Cornelius Johnson accounted for 26 yards on consecutive plays — one reception and one rush — to get Michigan into scoring position. Blake Corum finished off the drive with his third touchdown of the day, a 5-yarder. The Wolverines lead, 35-0.
• 3Q, 10:31 — The Wolverines go on a quick drive — 1:23 — for a touchdown, with J.J. McCarthy hitting Roman Wilson for their second touchdown connection of the day, a 45-yarder. Wilson was in man coverage and McCarthy fired a bullet on the money along the U-M sideline. Wilson and his speed did the rest, with the wideout waving to a defender as he crossed the goal line. The Maize and Blue have a 28-0 lead.
• 3Q, 14:41 — Michigan goes three-and-out to begin the second half. UNLV takes over at its own 15-yard line after a booming punt from Tommy Doman.
• Halftime: Michigan 21, UNLV 0
• 2Q, 0:24 — Michigan started its next possession on its own 17-yard line, and drove down methodically for a score. J.J. McCarthy hit Roman Wilson for a 13-yard touchdown with 24 seconds left in the half. McCarthy scrambled for a first down on the previous play. He now has 38 rushing yards on 3 carries and is 17-for-18 passing for 188 yards and a score.
• 2Q, 8:30 — Michigan went for it on 4th and 2 on the UNLV 18-yard line, but Blake Corum only gained 1 yard, with UNLV taking over on downs.

• 2Q, 12:28 — Michigan senior EDGE Jaylen Harrell has 2 sacks on the same drive, and UNLV punts it away for a third time. The Wolverines have the ball on their own 40 to start out.
• 2Q, 14:56 — On the first play of the second quarter, Blake Corum punches in his second touchdown of the day, this time from 2 yards out. The Wolverines have a 14-0 edge after the James Turner made extra point.
• End of the first quarter: Michigan leads, 7-0. The Wolverines have 1st and goal at the UNLV 2-yard line, after J.J. McCarthy kept a read option play and broke free up the UNLV sideline for a 17-yard gain.
• 1Q, 5:44 — Sophomore EDGE Derrick Moore notches Michigan’s first sack of the season on third down, forcing 4th and 19 and a UNLV punt. The Wolverines have the ball on their own 25-yard line after the punt was downed.
• 1Q, 7:06 — Michigan with a crisp 9-play, 80 yard drive, capped off by a 3-yard scoring rush by senior running back Blake Corum, his second of the season. J.J. McCarthy was 5-for-5 for 64 yards on the possession.
• 1Q, 11:43 — After a six-play drive, UNLV punts it away. Jake Thaw was back deep for Michigan and let the ball bounce into the end zone. The Wolverines take over at their own 20-yard line.
• Michigan won the toss and chose to defer its choice to the second half. UNLV will receive and defend the north goal.
