Why I'm Excited For The Next Chapter Of TheWolverine.com
Welcome back to TheWolverine.com. The faces and the content remain the same, but this is a new era for us. We embrace the opportunity to be the source for Michigan Wolverines coverage on the On3 network.
Counting SB Nation, a place I left on Oct. 1 after 7.5 years, this is the third network I’ve written on in less than a month. That is a lot of change in a short amount of time, but today’s announcement made it totally worth it.
I never expected to change jobs midseason, but the opportunity to be a part of this team was too good to pass up.
Chris Balas and John Borton are two of the most established voices in the market. EJ Holland is the hardest-working recruiting insider I have ever been around. Clayton Sayfie pours his heart and soul into his work and is a content machine.
Working with a group as talented as this has made me a better writer in a short amount of time. That alone was reason enough to justify accepting the offer to be part of this staff in October.

Shannon Terry is one of the most forward-thinking people in digital media. His vision and ability to stay ahead of curve have always stood out to me both as an employee at a previous stop and as an observer from afar.
I was at a professional crossroads when The Wolverine reached out about an opening on their staff. The chance to join On3 gave me much to think about. Stu Coman made the call to the bullpen and got Shannon involved. I was immediately on board once I saw the presentation and vision for the future on this network. The database and other resources being worked on are going to change college sports coverage as we know it.
We have everything we need to be a juggernaut. And we will.
TheWolverine.com is ready to build on its standing as the preeminent source for University of Michigan fans. I am blessed to be a part of it and hope you will jump on the ride.
