BYU appears to be the leader, but Michigan is also in the mix, a finalist, for four-star center Xavion Staton, who will make his decision Nov. 4.
Michigan will hold a celebration for life for the late athletic counselor Greg Harden, who passed away suddenly last month. The celebration will be held Oct. 24 at Crisler Center, and fans are invited to join. Here are more details from the athletic department:
Family, friends, University of Michigan students and staff and every individual whose life was impacted by the late Greg Harden are invited to attend “A Celebration of Life” for the longtime University of Michigan administrator on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. The memorial service and celebration will be held at Crisler Center.
Individuals can claim digital tickets at no cost to the event beginning next week. Former Michigan student-athletes and staff will have access to sign up on Monday (Oct. 7) and the public will be able to claim tickets on Wednesday (Oct. 9).
The event will include speakers from different eras of Greg’s life. Harden spent the better part of five-plus decades as a life coach, motivational speaker, executive consultant and social worker.
Michigan graduate running back Kalel Mullings has had three straight games of 100-plus rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.

Quote Of The Day
“There’s a lot of room for growth. We do feel like we got probably a little bit later start than most, but all the fundraising efforts have been I think beneficial for everyone. We’re selling a really unique thing where it’s access to our program. And we have some guys that are marketable themselves, so it’s going well. Is it as good as it needs to be? No, and I don’t think it ever will be. We’re always going to have to be chasing more.”
