Michigan women’s basketball will host Michigan State Saturday at noon ET at Crisler Center, a battle of the 24th-ranked Wolverines and No. 21 Spartans. Here are game promotions and things to know ahead of tip off, courtesy of MGoBlue:

• Michigan has won its last four games, defeating Purdue, Washington, Rutgers and No. 23 Minnesota. It marks the 12th time the Wolverines have won at least four straight conference games and the first since winning four straight from Jan. 29-Feb. 12, 2023. Michigan is 5-3 in Big Ten play behind the four-game win streak, putting the Wolverines in the top half of the league standings.
• For the first time in the history of this in-state rivalry, both teams enter the contest ranked in the Associated Press top 25 poll. U-M comes in at No. 24 and MSU is No. 21.
• Michigan is looking for its second win over a ranked team this season after picking up a 70-65 win at No. 23 Minnesota on Wednesday (Jan. 22), its first ranked win on the road since knocking off No. 22 Ohio State in Columbus on Jan. 27, 2022. U-M has faced (rankings at the time) No. 1 South Carolina, No. 10 Oklahoma, No. 4 USC, No. 1 UCLA, No. 8 Ohio State and No. 23 Minnesota this season. No. 21 Michigan State is Michigan’s seventh ranked opponent of the season.
