Michigan’s defense has been outstanding at stopping the run this season, and the run defense is only ascending, with three of its last four opponents having been held to below 50 yards rushing. Michigan’s formula has been simple — stop the run, get the opposing quarterback into third and long situations and pin their ears back. For example, MSU averaged 8.8 yards to go on third downs last week.
Quote Of The Day
“It was another great experience. I really enjoyed everything and all the coaches. The crowd was lit, and I was really into the game. They have the best stadium in college football. Michigan is a really amazing school, and I will for sure be back for other visit. … They are for sure going to be a championship team again this year. I love how the Michigan defense only gave up one touchdown against Michigan State. All the defensive backs know what they’re doing on the field. That means a lot to me.”
