“[Quarterback] Bryce [Underwood] has been tremendous. His work ethic, his maturity, his commitment to the process.
“[Wide receiver] Andrew Marsh is going to be high end for us. [Offensive lineman Andrew] Babalola and [offensive lineman] Avery Gach are both what we expected. [Cornerback] Shamari Earls looks really good.
“Looking at the group we just brought in there’s not a lot we’re looking at and saying ‘Oh shit, I don’t know about that one.’ They’re all going to have a chance to go get in the mix in spring ball.”

Michigan quote of the day
“This can’t turn into two losses. We’re a half game out of first place in the Big Ten in mid-February, so there’s no time to hang our heads and mope and feel sorry for ourselves. Like I said, we’ve got to unify and figure out a way to get better tomorrow, take care of our bodies, and get our edge back. Lost in rivalry stuff sometimes is that there’s a basketball game that requires execution and it requires poise, and we didn’t look like a more poised veteran team tonight, and I think for the most part this year we’ve looked like a really connected veteran group.”
