04/24/2025 08:49:09 PM

More praise from the Rose Bowl runner-up:

“ I don’t ever remember playing against two dominant guys inside when we played Michigan with 55+78. These two guys are really good. You’re talking about power, you’re talking about athleticism, you’re talking about guys that play hard and compete well, they’re great effort guys.”

The Cowboys go guard, taking Alabama’s Tyler Booker at No. 12 overall.

Nick Saban gives praise to Colston Loveland

04/24/2025 08:33:12 PM

The former Alabama head coach lost 27-20 to Loveland and the Wolverines in the 2024 Rose Bowl.

“ Another one of the recruits that we lost, but anyway, beat us in the playoffs. But this guy is a fantastic athlete. He’s the best receiver of all the tight ends in the draft, in my opinion, because his athletic ability and his ability to separate at the top of the route and beat man-to-man coverage. He has natural hands, long arms, which gives him a big catch radius.”

No. 11: San Francisco 49ers

04/24/2025 08:24:04 PM

The 49ers are going pass rusher here, taking EDGE Mykel Williams out of Georgia.

NFL Network weighs in on Loveland

04/24/2025 08:22:02 PM

The panel at NFL Network reacts to the pick from the Bears.

DANIEL JEREMIAH ON IT NOT BEING TYLER WARREN:

“I had them right next each other on my list, so they’re both excellent players with different styles
He’s a smooth mover, kind of reminds me of Mark Andrews, but quite honestly, you could put Sam LaPorta on that list, who Ben Johnson coached. A real sudden mover. He creates separation down the field with his routes. Look at these easy windows that he creates for the quarterback. He has the ability to just pull away, and once he gets the ball he can get on the field quickly. He has tremendous speed.

“He’s going to be able to come in and impact right way.”

CHARLES DAVIS COMPARES TO EIFERT

“This is my favorite player in the draft. I love Colston Loveland — everything about him. I comped him to Tyler Eifert. You notice the ability to split out, run routes, beat people one-on-one with Eiffert, and we see the same thing with Loveland.”

No. 10: Chicago Bears

04/24/2025 08:21:30 PM

Our second Wolverine is off the board! Michigan tight end Colston Loveland is the pick and will join the NFC North’s upstart Bears.

The NFL Network crew weighs in on Mason Graham

04/24/2025 08:10:58 PM

The panel over at NFL Network had plenty of thoughts to share on the newest Cleveland Brown.

Daniel Jeremiah:

He’s my fourth overall player, so I love the value they’re getting here. This is a guy with a wrestling background who is unbelievable against the run. You cannot move him at the point of attack. He plays with incredible leverage, and then he also flashes this ability, as he showed against Alabama, to penetrate, make his way into the backfield. Just a dominant player against the run.

Pass rush-wise, I think there’s more growth to come there, but he shows in flashes when he can get on the edge and get to the half of a man, that he’s a load to block.

He has an unending gas tank. He plays so hard from the beginning of the game to the end of the game, and he’s one of the most productive, consistent players in this draft class.

Joel Klatt:

I think about the last 15 years in college football, I think of the most disruptive and impactful defensive tackles that I’ve seen. Ndamukong Suh comes to mind. Nick Fairley comes to mind at Auburn. And Mason Graham.

He is always on his feet, he is powerful, he’s got a great attitude and he’s got a tough attitude. He will walk in, and his confidence just as an interior defensive lineman will ooze to every other defender there, knowing that, hey, he’s gonna make the linebackers better, he’s gonna make the safeties better, he’s gonna make everybody better in that defense.

There are only a few times when I’ve been in the booth calling a game and saying, ‘Hey, the defensive tackles won the game.’ And they did that against Ohio State, the national champions. They kept trying to run the football, and Kenneth Grant and Mason Graham just kept throwing their guards onto the ground and making tackles. They single-handedly won that game in Columbus.

Charles Davis:

This guy may show up with his shirt tails out. He may not look like the perfect specimen, but he comes out of his stance and he shocks you with those hands. Guess what? He’s gonna go and make a play after that.

No. 9: New Orleans Saints

04/24/2025 08:09:11 PM

The Saints have selected Kelvin Banks Jr., the offensive tackle out of Texas.

They could be a team to keep an eye on tomorrow for a quarterback.

Rich Eisen is a savage

04/24/2025 08:02:19 PM

The Michigan alum is leading the NFL Network broadcast and could not resist taking a shot at Ohio State after the Browns selected Graham.

“In all honesty, the most important trait anybody from Cleveland wants to have in a Brown is someone who knows how to win in the state of Ohio.”

No. 8: Carolina Panthers

04/24/2025 08:01:12 PM

Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan is coming off the board at No. 8, giving Bryce Young a playmaker to work with.

No. 7: New York Jets

04/24/2025 07:50:48 PM

The Jets are keeping their pick in the trenches, selecting Missouri tackle Armand Membou with the No. 7 overall pick.

No. 6: Las Vegas Raiders

04/24/2025 07:48:03 PM

The Raiders are taking Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty with the No. 6 overall selection.

Tom Brady gets the star back in the silver and black.

Analysts weigh in on Graham

04/24/2025 07:46:37 PM

Desmond Howard weighs in:

“When he first came to Michigan, Harbaugh said the football gods shined on me with two gifts… he was one of the gifts. He used to play soccer and run people over… he’s never looked back. He’s a great player and better person.” Nick Saban called him a “pain in the butt.”

No. 5 overall: Cleveland Browns (via Jacksonville Jaguars)

04/24/2025 07:38:54 PM

The Michigan man is off the board. Defensive tackle Mason Graham is going to be a Brown.

No. 4 overall: New England Patriots

04/24/2025 07:32:51 PM

The Patriots have selected LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell.

Mason Graham watch is officially on. Could the Buckeye faithful who are Browns fans get a guy who single-handedly ruined their rivalry game on their squad?

No. 3 overall: New York Giants

04/24/2025 07:28:17 PM

The Giants have selected Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter with the No. 3 overall pick.

We have our first Big Ten pick off the board. And now are on Mason Graham watch.

No. 2 overall: Jacksonville Jaguars

04/24/2025 07:24:28 PM

Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter is heading to Duval.

The Cleveland Browns have traded the No. 2 overall pick to the Jacksonville Jaguars

04/24/2025 07:23:57 PM

Our first set of fireworks.

The No. 1 overall pick is in

04/24/2025 07:14:23 PM

Miami (FL) quarterback Cam Ward is a Tennessee Titan

Now things get interesting. Will the Browns trade out of the pick?

Denver wants somebody, apparently. The Athletic’s Dianna Russini says they are trying to trade up.

There’s some buzz about trades in the top 10

04/24/2025 06:30:15 PM

The Cleveland Browns are reportedly open for business at the No. 2 overall pick.

Should the Browns move down, they used one of their top-30 visits on DT Mason Graham. Regardless, movement in the top ten could have implications on his landing spot.
