NFL Draft: Vegas odds and ends for Michigan and Big Ten prospects, more
The 2022 NFL Draft is a day away with plenty starting to come into focus as we head into the first round on Thursday night. Michigan EDGE defender Aidan Hutchinson was once considered the betting favorite for the No. 1 overall pick, but that is no longer the case.
Hutchinson has been surpassed by Georgia EDGE Travon Walker (-300, FanDuel) as the favorite to go No. 1 overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars. This means the former Wolverine is now the leader to be selected by the hometown Detroit Lions with the No. 2 overall pick at -300. Hutchinson’s draft odds of going No. 1 instead of Walker sit at +300.
The FanDuel oddsmakers do not see Hutchinson falling past the New York Jets at No. 4 overall. His odds to go No. 3 to the Houston Texans sit at +800, while the Jets come in at +1600.

Given all of this, it seems more likely than not that Hutchinson will be a Lion.

The 2022 NFL Draft will be held from April 28-30 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The first round is set for Thursday night with second and third rounds taking place Friday. The event concludes on Saturday with rounds four through seven. The event will be broadcast via ESPN, ABC and NFL Network.
