Pregame updates: Michigan football vs. Maryland

• 12:05 p.m. — Michigan has taken the field, as has Maryland. Wolverine fans are chanting “let’s go blue!”

• 11:40 a.m. — Massive Michigan contingent here at SECU Stadium.

• 11:31 a.m. — Video of Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy warming up.

• 10:50 a.m. — Michigan fans are showing out early on, making up the majority of fans in the stands. Some are already anticipating the program’s 1,000th win, which it would reach with a victory today.

• 10:48 a.m. — According to Michigan radio broadcaster Jon Jansen, Myles Hinton will start at left tackle. He started the first three games of the season at right tackle and was used last week as an extra lineman. Him filling in there and Karsen Barnhart staying at right tackle gives us the impression that Henderson will return next week against Ohio State.

• 10:30 a.m. — Several Michigan players — mostly with the skill positions — are on the field warming up. The sun is out and it’s a beautiful day in College Park. Gates have just been opened, and some fans are starting to fill in. There were a lot of Michigan fans surrounding the stadium, as expected. It should be a good Maize and Blue turnout.

• 10 a.m. — Michigan has released its availability report and will be without starting left tackle LaDarius Henderson. We will monitor who warms up in his place as pregame continues.
