Desmond Howard On Being Back In Ann Arbor, Michigan Showdown With Texas, National Championship

No. 10 Michigan Wolverines football is set to take on No. 3 Texas Saturday at The Big House. Follow along below for pregame observations and updates from the press box.

Pregame updates: Michigan vs. Texas

• 11:42 a.m. — Dominic Zvada nails a 43-yard field goal, Semaj Morgan catches the final punt of warmups and Michigan heads into the tunnel and locker room for the final time before kickoff.

• 11:38 a.m. — It appears sophomore wide receiver Kendrick Bell could get his first career start. He was with the ones during the first snap of team warmups. Senior running back Donovan Edwards was also out there. He started last week, but graduate Kalel Mullings had more carries.

• 11:25 a.m. — Jack Tuttle is throwing during warmups. He didn’t dress last week.

• 11:21 a.m. — Quarterback Davis Warren is snapping with senior Dominick Giudice, so it’s fair to assume the latter will get the nod at center once again. He started last week, but classmate Greg Crippen also saw time at the position.

• 10:10 a.m. — Michigan graduate quarterback Jack Tuttle was listed as out last week but is ‘questionable’ for this game. The following players are out for the Wolverines:

• Senior safety Rod Moore
• Junior safety Jaden Mangham
• Senior wide receiver Joe Taylor

• 10:07 a.m. — The defending national champion Michigan Wolverines have arrived at The Big House.
