Projecting Michigan's defensive lineup in 2025: Another stout group expected

The Michigan Wolverines could lose as many as four first-round picks from their defense this year, depending on what happens to declared juniors Will Johnson (CB), Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant (DT) and senior EDGE Josaiah Stewart in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, a strong and deep group could return to Ann Arbor next season. Decisions on potential returns are still being worked out, but Michigan is expected to bring back most of its talent from this season's defense, coordinated by Wink Martindale. Below is a projection of what the Wolverines could look like defensively when the 2025 season rolls around.
