Holland on Michigan lacking a class leader
Holland: “Obviously, if you can get a Dante Moore, a Nyckoles Harbor or something like that, I think they would be obvious class leaders and guys that would spark other commitments. But with Dante taking it late into the summer, with Harbor potentially taking it all the way to December, you don’t really have that guy that I think can lead the class this cycle. I think that’s kinda something that’s holding Michigan back a little bit is not having the vocal guy like Will [Johnson], but again, I think Michigan can regain that momentum in the summer with official visits.”
On the possibility five-star QB Dante Moore spurns the Midwest
Holland: “Dante could just spurn the Midwest schools and go to an Oregon, a Miami or an LSU. I think he has that in him, but at the same time, Michigan’s always been that school. They offered him as a seventh grader. He’s been there a million times. He used to go to summer camp there for academics. Devin Gardner’s his trainer, so there’s a lot of Michigan ties with him, a lot of push for Michigan. I think it’s become a little bit of a dull option just because he’s so familiar with it…”
