The Wolverine has officially made the move to On3. We can finally talk about it, and we couldn’t be more excited.

I’ve followed The Wolverine for many years, thought and dreamed about one day potentially working for the outstanding and iconic site, and finally got the opportunity to join just over two years ago.

The Wolverine senior editors Chris Balas and John Borton, recruiting expert EJ Holland, new hire and savant Anthony Broome, a recruiting writer to be named later, managing editor Ryan Tice and our entire team … I’m blessed to work with these hard-working and talented individuals on a daily basis.

It’s not that hard to out-work people if you really put your mind to it, and I feel the staff at The Wolverine has done that for a long, long time. That competitive spirit, coupled with unparalleled inside scoop and analysis, has been a formula for success.

Now, though, The Wolverine has the backing of On3, which is revolutionizing the way college sports are covered and followed. A visionary, Shannon Terry and his team have a goal to make On3 the college sports destination for the fans who love not just the games but the spectacle that makes college football and basketball great. We share that vision.

The Wolverine wouldn’t be anywhere without the great support of our community of Michigan fans on The Fort, the biggest and best message board in the market. We argue, debate, joke and engage in banter — it’s sports; it’s supposed to be fun! — but we’re supportive and are there for each other, like family. We can’t thank you all enough for not only being along this ride with us, but being a huge part of the journey.

The Wolverine is more than fired up to be with On3, and we’re appreciative of the reception the move has already gotten from our readers, viewers and listeners.

The Wolverine can promise this: The content we already produce isn’t going anywhere, and we’re only going to build from here. It’s going to be more of the same. Not the same, but more of the same — more scoop, analysis, exclusive interviews, podcasts, videos, personal interaction with readers, help from the national side, etc.

So now, I really only have one question: Who could possibly have it better than us (The Wolverine staff and our loyal base)?

I know the answer to that (say it with me).

NOOOOOO-BODY!
