Top 10 On3 NIL Valuations in Michigan's 2024 recruiting class
Michigan has 25 verbal commits in its 2024 recruiting class with the average On3 NIL Valuation listed at $71K.
The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
The algorithm that collects data off an athlete’s brand and roster value comprises of three primary factors – performance, influence and exposure. How a recruit does on the field, their presence on social media (Twitter, Instagram and TikTok), as well as where the recruit attends high school and college greatly affects the predicted market available for the player.
The Wolverine takes a look at the top 10 On3 NIL valuations in U-M’s 2024 recruiting class.
1. Top 100 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day QB Jadyn Davis – $438K
Jadyn Davis made his public commitment on ESPN’s SportsCenter more than 24 hours before Michigan’s spring game earlier this month. Taking five total unofficial visits to Ann Arbor going back to June of last year, Davis and his family connected well with Michigan quarterbacks coach Kirk Campbell on his March return. They went ahead with a decision shortly afterward.
2. Top 100 Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller RB Jordan Marshall – $123K
Jordan Marshall originally planned to schedule a commitment date during July but shut down his recruitment shortly following a third unofficial visit to Michigan last month. Beating out Ohio State in a highly publicized fashion, running backs coach Mike Hart led the efforts to establish close relationships and daily communication with Marshall and his parents. He recently jumped 45 spots on the updated 2024 On300 release to No. 31 overall and the No. 2 running back nationally.
3. Top 100 Rochester (Mich.) Adams TE Brady Prieskorn – $120K
Brady Prieskorn dropped a Top 8 list in mid-March that included Michigan and later returned to campus that same week to be with the coaching staff again. Long regarded as the top tight end target on Michigan’s board this cycle, Prieskorn committed in late April and kept constant contact with assistant coach Grant Newsome, who’s now locked in two commits at the tight end position in back-to-back classes.
4. On300 Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst OT Andrew Sprague – $96K
Andrew Sprague was in attendance for Michigan’s spring game event and spent a lot of time with the verbal commits who were also at The Big House. Serious talks with offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Sherrone Moore and his close friendship with 2023 athlete signee Kendrick Bell paved the way for Sprague to join the two-time reigning Joe Moore Award-winning group in Ann Arbor. At 6-foot-8, 295 pounds, Sprague is the highest-ranked offensive line commit in the 2024 class at No. 142 overall by On3.
5. On300 Bellevue (Wash.) High TE Hogan Hansen – $90K
Hogan Hansen took an unofficial visit to Michigan in mid-October for the Penn State game and got onboard a few weeks before Christmas Day. The leaders of Ford Sports Performance, a training facility based in the Pacific Northwest that works year-round with Hansen, have built a strong connection with multiple Michigan coaching staff members, including Newsome and director of recruiting operations Albert Karschnia. Following his official visit over Victor’s Weekend, Hansen confirmed with The Wolverine that he expects to enroll early next January.
6. On300 Austin (Tex.) Vandegift OT Blake Frazier – $87K
Blake Frazier is the son of former Michigan starting center Steve Frazier, who snapped for future NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady. Holding off significant pushes from the Texas powerhouses and other Power 5 elites, Michigan brought Frazier and his family to campus for a multi-day unofficial visit in mid-March, ultimately claiming its fourth offensive line commit almost a month later. The 6-foot-5.5, 270-pounder is the No. 14 offensive tackle in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

7. On300 Harper Woods (Mich.) High Safety Jacob Oden – $83K
Jacob Oden has known Michigan co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach Steve Clinkscale throughout the majority of his childhood. Their correspondence became more significant when Oden became a Power 5-bound football player. As the first in-state prospect in the 2024 class to join the Wolverines, Oden has taken 15 unofficial visits to campus, including three consecutive returns in June. He also had an influential role in helping U-M land On300 linebacker Jeremiah Beasley. Both are members of the SoundMind SoundBody organization.
8. On300 Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth LB Mason Curtis – $80K
Mason Curtis holds the title of the first 2024 prospect to commit to Michigan in June of last year. Right before the summer dead period, Curtis and his family made the trip up to Ann Arbor, which resulted in the versatile defender falling in love with the program. The Nashville-based training organization working with Curtis – National Players Academy – has a longtime relationship with Clinkscale and has also produced sophomore linebacker Junior Colson.
9. Four-Star Chicago (Ill.) High WR I’Marion Stewart – $72K
I’Marion Stewart went on the OT7 Finals YouTube Channel to announce his commitment which was highlighted by his father, Ira Stewart, donning The Wolverine movie costume fitted with a Michigan basketball jersey. Stewart’s addition has given U-M at least one verbal pledge from the city of Chicago in every recruiting cycle going back to 2019.
10. On300 Belleville (Mich.) High LB Jeremiah Beasley – $70K
Jeremiah Beasley was tabbed a priority target by Michigan linebackers coach Chris Partridge right when the latter was re-hired in February. Residing less than 30 minutes away from the Ann Arbor campus, Beasley’s growing interest in the Wolverines that came from multiple spring practice visits, an appearance for the spring game and his Victor’s Weekend official visit resulted in momentum shifting away from Michigan State, who was perceived as the leader in the fall, winter and early spring. Beasley is the No. 5 prospect in the state of Michigan, per On3, meaning U-M has nabbed from three of the top five in-staters in 2024.
HM. Four-Star DL Jerod Smith – $66K
Jerod Smith was heavily favorited to commit to Michigan once defensive line coach Mike Elston visited his school to begin the spring evaluation period and when the four-star took an unofficial visit in April. The Wolverines beat out Notre Dame, who for several months, was a major lean to take Smith’s talents to South Bend. The 6-foot-2.5, 255-pounder went back to Ann Arbor twice in June alongside his twin brother, four-star EDGE Jacob Smith, who’ll decide between Nebraska or U-M.
