Michigan has used the transfer portal perfectly the last few years to build a championship program — not just Big Ten, but national. They've plugged holes with elite college players like Olu Oluwatimi, got the underrated piece to a title team last year in kicker James Turner (they might not have beaten Ohio State if they hadn't), and added guys like corner Josh Wallace, who had a great season a year ago.
