A trio of Michigan commits were named preseason MaxPreps All-Americans this week.

Top 100 Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller running back Jordan Marshall and three-star Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward offensive lineman Ben Roebuck were both listed on the second team offense, while Top 100 2025 Miami (Fla.) Miami Chaminade-Madonna cornerback Chris Ewald was featured on the Junior All-American team.

Marshall, the No. 2 running back and No. 31 overall prospect nationally, is the highest rated commit in Michigan’s 2024 recruiting class, per On3. The talented ball carrier committed to Michigan over rival Ohio State and others in March.

Marshall is coming off an outstanding junior season that saw him rush for 1,951 yards and 34 touchdowns en route to leading Moeller to a 13-2 record and an appearance in the Ohio state semifinals.

Roebuck, the No. 28 offensive tackle and No. 494 overall prospect nationally, was another important recruiting win for Michigan in Ohio this cycle. The 6-foot-7, 340-pounder committed to U-M over Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State, Tennessee, Wisconsin and others in March.

Roebuck was part of a dominant offensive line group last season and helped lead St. Edward to its second straight Ohio state championship.

Ewald, the No. 7 cornerback and No. 86 overall prospect nationally in the 2025 recruiting class, surprised many when he gave Michigan an early commitment back in December. Ewald has remained solid to the Wolverines and made two visits this summer.

The face of U-M’s 2025 class, Ewald is one of the most talented cornerbacks in the country and a ball hawk for South Florida powerhouse Chaminade-Madonna, which finished with a 13-1 record last year. Chaminade-Madonna enters this season ranked as the No. 7 high school team in the country, per MaxPreps.
