Video of prank call to Michigan DT, Cleveland Browns draft pick Mason Graham released: NFL is investigating

Former Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders wasn’t the only prospect to be prank called during the 2025 NFL Draft — there were multiple, including Sanders’ new teammate, defensive tackle Mason Graham.
A video surfaced on social media of individuals prank calling Graham, the No. 5 overall pick to the Cleveland Browns, to tell him he was picked by that same franchise before it became a reality. They pretended to be head coach Kevin Stefanski.
“Hey is this Mason?” the caller asked. “This is Kevin Stefanski with the Cleveland Browns. You wanna be a Brown, buddy?”
“Yes, sir,” Graham replied.
“Alright, bring ‘ya ass, dumb f***,” the caller said. “No chance, bro. Go Bucks, you s***ty f***ing clown. You’re a clown!”

Graham and his family attended the NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisc.
Graham’s father, Allen Graham, texted the Detroit Free Press following the first round of the draft to tell the publication that the call did indeed happen.
“His phone was getting called nonstop,” Allen Graham said.
Sanders is the most notable athlete to be prank called during the draft, and the prankster — Jax Ulbrich, the son of Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich — has already apologized. Jeff Ulbrich was assessed a fine of $100,000 for not concealing confidential information (i.e. the phone number of draftees).

According to CBS Sports, the NFL is investigating the series of calls after Penn State linebacker Abdul Carter, Graham, Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord and UConn offensive lineman Chase Lundt all were the victims of such pranks.
Per CBS Sports, Oregon offensive lineman Josh Conerly Jr. also received one, as did Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond, who was never actually drafted and eventually signed as a free agent.
“The NFL only provided private phone numbers to teams for the 15 players who attended the draft in Green Bay, as well as the players scheduled for virtual interviews with ESPN and NFL Network, per the AP,” CBS Sports wrote. “The Sanders call was a result of Jax Ulbrich, the 21-year-old son of the Falcons’ defensive coordinator, obtaining Sanders’ number from an unlocked iPad at his father’s home, the team said in a statement.”
Graham is the highest-drafted Michigan defensive tackle in program history. The Wolverines had three first-round selections in 2025, with tight end Colston Loveland (No. 10 overall to the Chicago Bears) and defensive tackle Kenneth Grant (No. 13 overall to the Miami Dolphins) joining Graham.
