About two decades ago, we made the choice to join a fledgling college sports network under the guidance of a young executive with great vision. As the most accomplished college football specialty magazine in the market, thanks in large part to editor John Borton, The Wolverine sought to add TheWolverine.com for an online presence in a changing world of media.

Several courted us, but Shannon Terry and Rivals.com proved to be the obvious choice. Forward thinking and motivated, Shannon made it clear success and excellence were the only options. He also made it obvious we were a huge part of his plans.

Twenty years later, we reunite to bring TheWolverine.com to what will be our long-term home at On3.com. It was a no-brainer when we were approached with this opportunity. ESPN and several others have courted us over the years, but none came close to offering the support, experience and expertise the On3.com staff provide.

We’ve broken records for traffic and readership over the last several months with our strongest staff ever at TheWolverine.com, a team of professionals unmatched in the industry. That we’re choosing to proceed with a new partner demonstrates just how much faith we have not only in the platform and the people providing it, but also in our followers to join us in our new venture.
