Michigan football unveils uniform choice for Indiana game
Michigan Wolverines football is back at home after two straight road games, at Nebraska and Minnesota. Revealed by a social media post Friday afternoon, Michigan is set to wear its blue tops with blue pants and maize accessories against Indiana Saturday at The Big House.
This is the second time Michigan has gone with blue on blue this season, joining the Sept. 16 night game against Bowling Green, a 31-6 victory. U-M went with blue accessories for that game.

Michigan wearing maize accessories at home, including maize socks, is a relatively new look. The Wolverines’ first time ever sporting maize socks came when they paired them with maize pants in a 34-27 win over Maryland Sept. 24, 2022. They wore maize socks again, this time with blue pants (the identical look to what Michigan will don Saturday against Indiana) in a 29-7 victory over Michigan State Oct. 29, 2022. This will be the third time U-M wears that color sock.

This will be the 14th time in school history that Michigan has worn blue pants, including the eighth time at home. The Wolverines are 12-1 overall and 7-0 at home with blue pants. The first time U-M wore blue on bottom was in an 18-13 win over Penn State in 2014.

Head coach Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan team leadership council are responsible for choosing the Wolverines’ uniforms, though the head man has the final call.
