Where Michigan commits sit in new On300 rankings for 2026 recruiting class

On3 released its new rankings for the 2026 recruiting class on Monday afternoon. The update featured some interesting movement for Michigan commits.
Cocoa (Fla.) High quarterback Brady Hart moved up six spots from No. 167 to No. 161. While Michigan’s prized pledge technically saw his stock increase, this ranking still appears to be too low for Hart, who was On3’s MVP on the final day of Under Armour’s prestigious Future 50 event.
Hart is also having a strong junior campaign. Through seven games, Hart has passed for 2,259 yards and 21 touchdowns while facing Florida powerhouses like Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy, Venice (Fla.) High and Miami (Fla.) Norland.
Hart committed to Michigan in June over offers from Clemson, Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Texas A&M and others.
Hart has remained solid to Michigan over the last several months and recently returned for the game against Minnesota last month.
“It was awesome,” Hart said. “It was a reminder of why I committed. Just being around all the coaches and guys, it’s such a good fit. You can’t beat that atmosphere and the culture of the program. I got to see all the preparation the day before. The environment was outstanding. It definitely met my expectations for sure. It’s an exciting place. It’s one of the best atmospheres in college football.”
Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin cornerback Brody Jennings dropped 53 spots from No. 214 to No. 267. While Jennings fell, On3 is one of two services — along with Rivals — that has him ranked as a Top 300 prospect. He is ranked as a three-star recruit on the two others.

Jennings committed to Michigan in July over offers from Florida, Kentucky, Miami, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and others. Jennings’ decision came as a bit of a surprise as he pulled the trigger while on his visit for the BBQ at The Big House.
“I’ve been talking to Coach (LaMar) Morgan ever since he re-offered me,” Jennings said. “Nobody really knew I was going to the BBQ, but I went up there and did a workout with him. I felt like I fit in perfect in their system. All the coaches love me, and I love them, so I just committed. Michigan just felt like the spot for me. It shocked me. I was like ‘this where I want to be.’”
Dallas (Texas) Parish Episcopal wide receiver Jaylen Pile, who just committed to Michigan, last week remained a three-star recruit in this update.
Michigan has the No. 13 ranked 2026 recruiting class, per the On3 Industry team recruiting rankings. The Wolverines currently sit at No. 4 in the Big Ten behind Oregon, USC and Penn State.
