On3 released its initial Top 100 rankings for the 2027 recruiting class on Monday morning.

Several Michigan targets made the list, including Huntington Beach (Calif.) High quarterback Brady Edmunds, who made an unofficial visit in June.

Michigan quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell already landed his biggest prize in the 2026 recruiting class in Top 100 signal-caller Brady Hart and can now focus his attention on the 2027 class.

Edmunds, who checked in as the No. 2 quarterback and No. 16 overall prospect nationally, is right at the top of Campbell’s board, and the Wolverines will work to get him back to campus soon. Edmunds is the only quarterback with a Michigan offer in On3’s Top 100 rankings.

New Michigan running backs coach Tony Alford is already targeting some of the best ball carriers in the 2027 class. He has offers out to both Jackson (Ala.) High’s Ezavier Crowell (No. 15) and Richmond (Texas) Randle’s Landen Williams-Callis (No. 27).

A trio of Michigan wide receiver targets made the list — Top 100 in Desoto (Texas) High’s Boobie Feaster (No. 10), Duncanville (Texas) High’s Trenton Yancey (No. 20) and Harper Woods (Mich.) High’s Dakota Guerrant (No. 22).

Michigan has hosted Guerrant for a number of unofficial visits and has the lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. Guerrant is also a former teammate of freshman U-M defensive back Jacob Oden.

New Michigan tight ends coach Steve Casula has Michigan in the mix for a number of top tight ends, including Cleveland (Ohio) Villa Angela-St. Joseph’s D’Angelo White (No. 41), Detroit (Mich.) High’s Anthony Cartwright (No. 48), Dexter (Mich.) High’s Holden Niemi (No. 63). All three have already visited Michigan at least once.

No offensive linemen on the list hold Michigan offers.

Just one defensive lineman/EDGE has a Michigan offer in hand, and that Cincinnati (Ohio) Anderson’s Antwoine Higgins (No. 97). Michigan has hosted him for a visit, and the Wolverines hold the early lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Mobile (Ala.) Williamson’s Ellis McGaskin is the lone linebacker on the list with an offer from Michigan. McGaskin checked in as the No. 1 linebacker and No. 29 overall prospect nationally.

A pair of defensive backs were featured on the list in Nashville (Tenn.) Franklin Road Academy’s Omarii Sanders (No. 58) and Aliquippa (Pa.) High’s Larry Moon (No. 91). Sanders made his first visit to U-M in the spring.

The list also featured a pair of athlete targets in Glassboro (N.J.) High’s Xavier Sabb (No. 9) and Lawrenceville (N.J.) School’s Colt Lumpris (No. 88). Both have already visited Michigan. Sabb is the younger brother of former U-M defensive back Keon Sabb.
