Wolverine TV: Breaking down five key recruits visiting Michigan this weekend
Michigan is set to host a handful of key 2025 recruiting targets for its final home game of the season, including Top 100 Center Valley (Pa.) Southern Lehigh tight end Andrew Olesh, who committed to U-M over the summer.
Watch the video at the end of this story for a full breakdown.
Olesh Recruitment
Penn State was considered the leader for Olesh for the majority of the recruiting cycle. However, Michigan picked up some serious steam going into his official visit for Victors Weekend in June.
It was there where Michigan truly took command of this recruitment and gained the lead on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
While Alabama made a late run, new Michigan tight ends coach Steve Casula did a fantastic job of closing with Olesh. Casula made Olesh his only true target at the position after arriving in Ann Arbor this offseason.
This weekend will be key for Michigan as Oregon, Penn State and Notre Dame have all hosted him for fall visits. Michigan needs to keep Olesh in the class.

Here is what Holland had to say about Olesh.
“I’m really high on Olesh as a prospect,” Holland said. “He’s a Top 100 recruit on On3. When you look at his film, he’s a really tall, athletic pass catcher. Michigan has likened him to Colston Loveland, who spends a lot of time in the slot and out wide. That’s exactly how you can use Andrew Olesh — kind of as an extra bigger wide receiver. He has the height at 6-foot-5. He has the athleticism. He has really good speed for his size.”
At 6-foot-5, 215 pounds, Olesh is ranked as the No. 3 tight end and No. 55 overall prospect nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also ranked as the No. 1 overall recruit in the state of Pennsylvania this cycle.
Michigan has 18 commits in its 2025 recruiting class — five-star Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley Northwest offensive tackle Andrew Babalola, Top 100 Chester (Va.)
