Thomas Recruitment
Michigan extended an offer to Thomas back in April of 2023. Since then, the Wolverines have gotten Thomas on campus twice.
Thomas made his first visit to Michigan in the fall when the Wolverines hosted Texas in a marquee non-conference game. Thomas returned for another unofficial visit right before the dead period last month.
Michigan is making Thomas a top priority this cycle and is now set to get him on campus again for a spring practice on April 15.
Here is what Holland had to say about his recruitment.
“Thomas was previously listed as an athlete, but Michigan is recruiting him hard as a cornerback who can also move around in the secondary,” Holland said. “I like Thomas as a cornerback. At 6-foot-1, 185 pounds, Thomas fits what Michigan usually looks for at the position. However, he also has the versatility to play nickel and safety. He has high level technique and feet. He’s really filling out his frame nicely as well. Michigan is right up there in his recruitment and is now set to get him back this spring. Thomas recently told me that he plans to make a commitment before the spring is over.”
Along with Michigan, Thomas has made recent visits to schools like Auburn, Ohio State, Penn State, Texas A&M and USC.
