Michigan DL commit Manuel Beigel transitions to the United States
Holland: “He gets two years of playing football in the United States. He’s moved over to Connecticut. He’ll actually play at Choate Rosemary Hall which is one of the premier prep schools in the Northeast. That’ll give him time to really develop, get used to playing high school football at a high level. I’m excited to see what Manuel Beigel becomes two years from now. I think he’s going to easily be a 300 pounder. I mean he only has 20 more pounds to go to be a 300 pounder. If he’s able to maintain that quickness and speed, I think you have yourself a steal out of Europe.”
PPI CEO Brandon Collier gives his thoughts on Beigel
Collier: “Manuel has played soccer for most of his life, so he has really good feet. He’s right at about six-foot-five, 280 pounds, so he’s a big kid that can move around. He’s really athletic and ran a 4.9 40 this summer. It’ll be exciting to see what he’s going to become in two years.”
