Michigan landed a commitment from three-star Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic linebacker Cole Sullivan on Friday.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder picked Michigan over Boston College, Miami, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Stanford, Utah and others.

The Wolverine’s EJ Holland shares his thoughts on Sullivan and what his commitment means for Michigan in the video below.

Both head coach Jim Harbaugh and linebackers coach Chris Partridge pushed and earned Sullivan’s pledge.

Sullivan is ranked as the No. 58 linebacker and No. 519 overall recruit nationally, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He is also ranked as the No. 14 overall prospect in the state of Pennsylvania.

Sullivan has an On3 NIL Valuation of $28K with 2.7K followers across all platforms. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Michigan now has 17 commits in its 2024 recruiting class — Top 100 Rochester (Mich.) Adams tight end Brady Prieskorn, Top 100 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day quarterback Jadyn Davis, Top 100 Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller running back Jordan Marshall, On300 Harper Woods (Mich.) High defensive back Jacob Oden, On300 Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth linebacker Mason Curtis, On300 Bellevue (Wash.) High tight end Hogan Hansen, On300 Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst offensive lineman Andrew Sprague, On300 Austin (Texas) Vandegrift offensive lineman Blake Frazier, four-star Avon (Ohio) High offensive lineman Luke Hamilton, four-star Cheshire (Conn.) Academy defensive lineman Jerod Smith, three-star Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier defensive lineman Ted Hammond, three-star Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall defensive lineman Manuel Beigel, three-star Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day wide receiver Channing Goodwin, three-star Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic linebacker Cole Sullivan, three-star Ponte Vedra (Fla.) High offensive lineman Jake Guarnera, three-star Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward offensive lineman Ben Roebuck and three-star South Park (Pa.) High linebacker Zach Ludwig.

The class entered the day ranked No. 5 nationally in the On3 industry rankings and No. 2 in the Big Ten behind Ohio State.
