Wolverine TV: Breaking down new Michigan OL commit Blake Frazier
Michigan landed a commitment from On300 Austin (Texas) Vandegrift offensive lineman Blake Frazier on Sunday afternoon.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pounder picked Michigan over Clemson, Florida, LSU, Oregon, Penn State, Texas, Texas A&M, USC and others.
The Wolverine’s EJ Holland shares his thoughts on Frazier and what his commitment means for Michigan in the video below.
Frazier’s decision came a month following a multi-day unofficial visit to Michigan. Both head coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive line coach Sherrone Moore pushed and earned his pledge. Frazier made his decision public on his personal Instagram.
Frazier is ranked as the No. 21 offensive tackle and No. 273 overall recruit nationally, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He is also ranked as the No. 48 overall prospect in the state of Texas.
Frazier has an On3 NIL Valuation of $35K with 5.7K followers across all platforms. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Michigan now has 12 commits in its 2024 recruiting class — Top 100 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day quarterback Jadyn Davis, Top 100 Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller running back Jordan Marshall, On300 Harper Woods (Mich.) High defensive back Jacob Oden, On300 Nashville (Tenn.)
