Michigan landed a commitment from three-star Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman running back Micah Ka’apana on Saturday.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder picked Michigan over offers from Arizona State, BYU, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Utah, Washington State and others.

Both running backs coach Mike Hart and offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore pushed and earned Ka’apana’s pledge.

Ka’apana is ranked as the No. 63 running back and No. 767 overall recruit nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also ranked as the No. 3 overall prospect in the state of Nevada.
