Michigan landed a commitment from 2026 On300 Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin cornerback Brody Jennings on Sunday night. The Wolverine’s EJ Holland shares his thoughts on the recruiting win.

Jennings Recruitment

Jennings notched an early offer from Michigan but didn’t become a priority for the Wolverines until the arrival of new secondary coach LaMar Morgan.

Morgan re-offered Jennings in June and was able to immediately get him on campus for the BBQ at The Big House over the weekend. It was there where Morgan was able to seal the deal.

Here is what Holland had to say about the commitment.

“Michigan had some familiarity with Jennings since his older brother, Branden, was a former commit,” Holland said. “However, Morgan deserves a ton of credit here. Morgan offered him and made him a priority on the visit. He was able to seal the deal on the visit, which is impressive. That gives him three On300 lands since arriving in Ann Arbor. He landed two in the 2025 class and now adds Jennings to the fold in the 2026 class.”
