Wolverine TV: Breaking down On300 Michigan LB target Kris Jones
The Wolverine’s EJ Holland was back on the road last week and made his way to northern Virginia to see 2024 On300 Michigan linebacker target Kris Jones in game action.
Jones led his Stafford (Va.) Mountain View team to a 30-0 shutout win over Woodbridge (Va.) Gar-Field and made several key plays throughout the night as he lined up at defensive end, linebacker and running back.
Watch the video below to get a full breakdown of Jones’ game and intel on where Michigan sits in his recruitment early on.
Jones picked up an offer from Michigan in late August after being on the radar for several months. U-M linebackers coach George Helow extended the scholarship and was in contact on Sept. 1, the first date NCAA rules permitted college coaches to contact prospects in the 2024 recruiting class.
Jones has yet to visit Michigan but hopes to make his first trip to Ann Arbor at some point this fall.
