Michigan is set to host a whopping 13 official visitors this weekend.

The Wolverine’s EJ Holland breaks down the five highest ranked prospects from the group using the On3 Industry Ranking. Watch or listen to the video below.

The highest rated recruit coming in this weekend is five-star Chicago (Ill.) St. Ignatius prospect Justin Scott, the No. 2 defensive lineman and No. 8 overall prospect nationally.

Michigan hosted Scott for an unofficial visit in the fall for its win over rival Michigan State. This will be Scott’s first time back on campus since that trip. Right now, Miami is considered the leader, per the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, which gives the Hurricanes a 69.8 percent chance of landing him.

Here is what Holland had to say about Scott’s recuitment.

“There is some work to do,” Holland said. “Miami is considered the leader. Obviously, the Hurricanes have a lot to offer from an NIL perspective as well as some warm weather away from the Windy City. Notre Dame has long been considered a big-time player in this recruitment. Georgia has recently improved its stock. I think Michigan is behind those three schools right now, but the fact that Michigan is getting an OV is a win for this staff. They’ll have a chance to impress him and his mom on the visit and really show what Michigan can offer away from the field as well as development with defensive linemen. I think all of that will move the needle for Justin Scott.”
